Cloud Forest Explorer

Costa Rica

The Cloud Forest Explorer is located in the lush, tropical cloud forests of Costa Rica and is based at a beautiful yard offering trail rides to locals and overseas guests.  Volunteers will become involved in all aspects of daily life at the project - you will be involved in all aspects of the horses' daily lives and routines, assisting with their care and riding.  You will also be leading out trail rides and horseback tours for guests, proudly showing them the area in which you are staying and pointing out the amazing scenery and tropical wildlife.

For those interested in Natural Horsemanship you will be able to learn the techniques used and gain plenty of practical experience. The project manager is very interested in this and can teach you and explain her methods.
