No experience is necessary for working with children as the project’s resident Equine Assisted Therapist will give you full training. Not only will you learn about caring for the horses, but you will also be trained in Equine Assisted Therapy techniques enabling you to work with and help the children with special needs. All you need to have is some enthusiasm and a willingness to take part!

The Equine Assisted Therapy Project was established to enable the provision of vital therapy to children with special needs in Venezuela. Equine Assisted Therapy is an invaluable tool for helping these children and working with the horses brings them great joy. You will be able to watch the children grow in confidence, work closely with the horses getting to know them and have a fantastic time.
