Behind The Scenes Polo
Project Location: A beautiful ranch just outside Buenos Aires, Argentina

The 'Behind the Scenes' Polo Project is the perfect opportunity to visit a working Polo ranch and stud farm in the wilds of Argentina. You will get a real insight into the working lives of the polo players, riders, trainers and ponies, and learn all about the ‘behind the scenes’ aspects of polo – breeding, training, schooling and what it takes to run a successful polo pony stud in Argentina.
During your time at the ‘Behind the Scenes’ Polo Project you will of course be able to play lots of polo! You will be able to ride the polo ponies in training, helping improve their fitness and visit a local club to take part in practice chukkas and polo matches. You will be able to play chukkas against fellow volunteers, the ranch staff and local visiting Argentine players. The ranch has its own purpose built polo field where daily lessons are given and tournaments are played.
